An SDR is the first point of contact for new leads, and are responsible for all activities that help the sales department identify and qualify leads. Their role is to quickly move qualified leads into and through the sales process while disqualifying those leads that are not likely to become clients.
Omniware is looking for a results-oriented Sales Development Rep (SDR) who will help fuel our growth. You will be working directly with the COO of the company and take on the challenge of building this new role. When successful, the opportunity exists to move into an Outside Sales role in the future (your opportunity is driven by your success and the growth potential is unlimited). This role requires creativity and hard work to help Omniware find new business via email, phone, and digital media techniques. The primary objective is to identify and enter qualified leads into the Omniware Sales Pipeline.
Hit sales targets
Research target markets, clients, and individuals
Become familiar with and be able to relate the benefits of Omniware’s solutions to prospective clients
Identify and implement process improvements in the Sales Process
Organize and track daily, weekly, monthly, and annual progress against targets in Omniware’s CRM
Any additional sales/marketing related duties as assigned by the COO/CEO.
People Skills - the ability to connect with people through effective verbal communication including listening and emotional awareness
Effective written communication
Accepts failure and learns from mistakes
Nice to Have's:
Familiarity with CRM
One year experience as an SDR, preferably in a small start up
